Overview
There is an exciting opportunity for a Cleaner to support our services at Victoria Hospital, Wimborne.
This post is 9 hours per week. Wednesday to Friday 18:00-21:00. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving a high standard of cleanliness in a clinical ward based environment and also non-clinical areas throughout the main hospital, ensuring that a clean, safe and comfortable environment is maintained. Full on-site training is provided and PPE provision is also included.
This role involves working as a team, with a flexible approach, good communication skills and the ability to use your own initiative. The post offers an opportunity to work extra hours as able to cover sickness and staff holidays. Good pay rates -- weekend enhancements.

Main responsibilitiesTo support the Facilities Manager in their role and to ensure that the standard of cleanliness within the Trust is implemented and maintained.
- Main duties will include vacuuming, mopping, general cleaning/damp dusting, cleaning bathrooms, toilets, emptying bins, use of mechanical floor cleaning machines.
- Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check which the Trust will cover the cost of.
- Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
