Facility Maintenance – Diplomat Apartments. The Diplomat Apartments is located in the heart of Las Vegas, Nevada. The Diplomat is family owned for over twenty years.

Maintenance personnel are responsible for multiple functions on the property. Functions include cleaning of facilities, plumbing, HVAC, basic carpentry, painting, electrical, light surface preparation inside leased units and the exterior of the building and grounds.

• Demonstrates troubleshooting mastery to quickly resolve plumbing, electrical, and related problems
• Accomplishes general maintenance repairs and repairs to include basic carpentry, surface preparation, and light maintenance to include clear drains, patch holes, change light covers, hang screen doors, etc.
• Demonstrates ability to paint, install drywall, and basic carpentry skills
• Able to properly and efficiently clean facilities
• Utilizes various hand and power tools to accomplish tasks
• Bi‑lingual in Spanish is a plus
• Possession of all tools required
• 2+ years of various verified handyman skilled work

• Ability to lift weight up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend and kneel
• Ability to stoop and squat
• Ability to twist and turn upper body
• Ability to work in small spaces
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
• Ability to walk long distances

• Punctuality is an essential function of this job. Must have a current and valid CA Drivers license.
• This is an hourly position. The typical workday either begins at 7:00AM to 3:00PM or 11:00AM to 8:00PM and includes Saturdays. This role also has on‑call hours and may be asked to work more based on business needs.
• Other tasks may be required or assigned as necessary

Hourly $18.00 - $25.00
