We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Field Construction Manager to join our team for a large-scale fiber to the home deployment project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day field operations, developing project plans, and monitoring performance. Recognized as an expert, they anticipate client needs and provide solutions, sharing expertise and mentoring colleagues.

• Ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes
• Lead the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversee incident investigations
• Review and update construction schedules, address delays, and contribute to project schedules
• Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects
• Maintain working knowledge of reporting and tracking the financial aspects of the project
• Participate in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement and negotiations
• Set priorities and allocate resources as needed for the entire field team
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff and superintendents

• Three or more years of experience as a Telecommunications construction Superintendent
• Experience in aerial fiber construction is required
• Post‑secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices
• Effective communication and leadership skills
• Ability to directly supervise craft employees as well as subcontractors
• Problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate and address issues
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Military experience equivalent to 12N Horizontal Construction Engineer and/or 12H Construction Engineering Supervisor

• This is a site‑based position
• Travel up to 40% of the time throughout the state of West Virginia
