Warehouse Cross Dock Associate - 1st Shift

Position Overview

As a Cross Dock, you will use an electric pallet jack to load, unload and move materials onto trucks for shipment out of a warehouse facility.

In this role, you will ensure there is flow of pallets from the staging area to the correct doors, and ensure load quality.

Earnings: $22.00 per hour. Full Time, 1st Shift with a 5 AM start.

Location:

500 North St Windsor Locks, CT 06096.

• Operate an electric riding pallet jack
• Assist in unloading cross dock trailers
• Ensure the flow of pallets from the staging area to their appropriate doors
• Load, unload, and move materials onto trucks for shipment out of the warehouse facility
• Monitor pallet construction and ensure load quality
• Prioritize work within your assigned zone
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

• Continual standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting product weighing between 1–60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
