Lead engaging pet training sessions with Pet Smart, where empowering pet parents enhances every visit. Deliver positive experiences and uphold Pet Smart’s vision while educating pet parents and their furry friends.
As a Pet Training Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the pet parent experience and outcomes. This position involves educating pet parents about the benefits of training, actively selling classes, and maintaining records. With a focus on safety and cleanliness, you will ensure a welcoming atmosphere for both pets and their owners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with pet parents over phone, in person, or online
• Sell training classes at the store and online
• Educate peers on pet training benefits
• Schedule training sessions per company expectations
• Create safe, clean environments for training activities
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of customer-focused retail experience
• Accredited in Pet Smart Training Instructor Course
• Proficiency in computer applications
• Flexibility to work various hours as needed
• Strong organizational and communication skills
