We have an exciting opportunity to join our Team as a Driver responsible for pick-up and delivery of products over established routes in Windsor and surrounding area, including Michigan, USA.
Responsibilities Operate light trucks and cube vans to pick up and deliver various products over established routes (Route #1 between Center Line facilities, Route #2 throughout Windsor/Essex County, and Route #3 Michigan within an hour radius from Windsor).
Operate vehicle in a safe manner, obeying all laws and safety rules.
Loading and unloading products in a safe manner, using appropriate aids (dollies, forklifts, lifting, etc.).
Perform timely inspections of loads during all phases of truck / travel operation.
Review and verify all load-related documentation to ensure its validity, accuracy and completeness.
Log information on pickups and deliveries, vehicle maintenance and mileage, and any incidents encountered during operations, daily.
Effective oral and written communication.
Qualifications High School diploma required.
Class 'G' License required.
Clean Driver's abstract required.
Ability to lift to 40 lbs required.
Ability to travel across the U.S. border required.
Willingness to collaborate effectively with multiple shipping & receiving departments and co-workers to achieve pickup/delivery schedules and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
Sound organizational and time management skills.
Basic computer skills (email).
Forklift license and operational experience an asset.
Possession of a ‘Fast Card’, an asset.

Compensation Wage Range: $20.00 to $26.00/hour based on prior driving experience.
