Research Assistants are normally students, in a University of Winnipeg undergraduate program, employed to assist with tasks related to research. Work is performed within defined guidelines and under supervision of a more senior researcher or faculty member.
Position OverviewThe successful applicant will assist Dr. Eskandari in writing a computer program and producing data sets for a project on Catalan's constant. Other duties may include literature review and manuscript preparation.
Duties- Computer coding and data collection, analysis and interpretation.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, completed or near completion.
- Experience with computer languages and coding.
- Familiarity with coding in Sage and/or Python.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
The period of work will be from June 8, 2026 - July 11, 2026 and the estimated total hours of work will be 0-200 hours
