Position: Research Assistant, Experiments with Linear Forms in Catalan's Constant
Research Assistants are normally students, in a University of Winnipeg undergraduate program, employed to assist with tasks related to research. Work is performed within defined guidelines and under supervision of a more senior researcher or faculty member.

Position Overview
The successful applicant will assist Dr. Eskandari in writing a computer program and producing data sets for a project on Catalan's constant. Other duties may include literature review and manuscript preparation.

Duties
Computer coding and data collection, analysis and interpretation.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, completed or near completion.

Experience with computer languages and coding.
Familiarity with coding in Sage and/or Python.

Condition(s) of Employment
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

The period of work will be from June 8, 2026 - July 11, 2026 and the estimated total hours of work will be 0-200 hours.
