Assist Dr. Eskandari at the University of Winnipeg as a Research Assistant focused on computer programming and data analysis on Catalan's constant. This in-person role supports an academic project and enhances your coding skills.
The University of Winnipeg seeks a skilled undergraduate to aid in coding and data collection regarding Catalan's constant. In this role, you will contribute to drafting a computer program, collecting data sets, and reviewing existing literature. Additionally, you will engage in manuscript preparation under the guidance of senior researchers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Write and test computer programs for data analysis
• Collect, analyze, and interpret research data
• Conduct literature reviews on related topics
• Assist in manuscript preparation tasks
• Perform other assigned research-related duties
Requirements:
• Near completion of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics
• Proficiency in coding languages, especially Sage and Python
• Legally entitled to work in Canada
• Ability to work in-person from June 8 to July 11, 2026
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
