Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist
About the Role:
The purpose of the Clinical Nurse Practitioner is to provide oversight for infusions being administered in our ambulatory infusion centers.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturdays as needed.
Service Areas:
Winston‑Salem, NC. May float to other clinics as needed.
- Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program and Active Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in the state(s) of practice
- Experience in family physician setting; possesses strong knowledge of chronic disease states as well as current and emerging therapies.
- BLS or obtain upon hire.
- Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word,Excel).
- Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calmmanner.
- Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.
- Able to work as a team member with all members of PIS. Working alongside with nurses and other NPs/MDs.
- Able to perform as a provider and nursing functions as needed.
- Oversee the infusions being administered in the AIC.
- Travel to other AICs when needed for adequate coverage for all AICs.
- Maintains strong knowledge of all existing and developing infusion therapies.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with patients, vendors, and staff.
