Westaff is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician in Woburn, MA

Monday - Friday
8am - 5pm
$22 - $25 DOE
Duties of the Quality Assurance Technician:
- The Manufacturing Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality of all products and processes in our elastomer fabrication factory.
- This includes managing non-conforming materials, handling customer complaints and conducting inspections.
- Customer Complaint Handling
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues. Investigate complaints, identify root causes, and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
- Non-Conforming Material Handling:
- Identify and segregate non-conforming materials.
- Work with the production team to prevent recurrence and coordinate with suppliers for return or replacement as necessary.
- Inspections:
Conduct regular inspections of the manufacturing process, from incoming raw material to finished product. - Use inspection tools and follow quality standards to ensure compliance.
- Proven experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in elastomer fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with various departments.
- Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
