Job Title
Senior Quantity Surveyor
Job DetailsRate: £450 - £500/day
Location:
near Wolverhampton
Duration: 6 months, potential for extension
Working arrangements:
Hybrid, 4 days a week in the office
Due to exceptional growth, our client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work alongside the project delivery team on a major depot fit‑out project. This opportunity allows an individual to join the project as it ramps up to begin the main works.
Responsibilities- Manage multiple disciplines and subcontractors carrying out specialist packages of works at the depot using bespoke contracts.
- Lead, manage and train the commercial team.
- Lead on all contractual matters from inception to close‑out.
- Assist in the preparation of contract documents.
- Manage the risk and opportunities process.
- Set and manage budgets.
- Provide procurement support.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor.
- Experience working on major civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
- Experience managing specialist contractors.
- Charted by the RICS/CIOB (preferred).
