Rate: £38-40 per hour (Umbrella PAYE)
Salary Equivalent: £56-58k
Premium Overtime available at Weekends
Shift Pattern:
Double Days (This will possibly change at the end of 2026)

Overview
A great opportunity to join a modern manufacturing environment supporting advanced automated production technologies. You'll be part of a skilled maintenance team responsible for ensuring high‑volume machinery and systems operate reliably and safely. Ongoing technical training is provided, including development on major PLC and robotics platforms.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will support state of the art automated equipment and advanced EV manufacturing technologies-ensuring the line runs safely, smoothly, and reliably.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Working as part of a high-performing maintenance team to deliver safe, efficient production output
* Ensuring maximum equipment uptime across automated and robotic systems
* Maintaining, diagnosing, and improving complex manufacturing technologies
* Conducting machinery audits and ensuring equipment meets electrical and safety standards
* Performing Preventative Maintenance (PM) to an exceptional standard and documenting improvement opportunities
* Supporting major breakdowns while independently managing smaller tasks and line monitoring
* Contributing to automation and equipment improvement projects
* Promoting and maintaining safe working practices across the production environment
What You'll Need:
* A relevant formal qualification:
Indentured apprenticeship, or Level 3 BTEC (or equivalent) in mechanical/electrical maintenance or engineering
* Ideally have previous experience maintaining machinery in an automotive, production, or automated environment
* Strong skills in either Mechanical, Electrical, or Pneumatics maintenance
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider maintenance team
