Job Description

Position Title: Solutions Project Engineer

Location: Woodinville, WA

Position Type: Contract to hire (hire after 3 months)

The ideal person should have minor programming experience, SQL and Boolean logic knowledge and have previously worked in a troubleshooting customer facing support role where they needed to fix issues and relay the information back to the customer. SaaS experience a plus.

DEFINITION

The Solutions Project Engineer assists our Solutions Consultants with customer project engagements, configurations, training, and overall support for our SaaS product lines which include Disaster Recovery planning, Business Continuity planning, Vendor Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Compliant Management, and Policy and Document Management.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May not include all the listed duties, nor do all of the listed examples include all tasks which may be found in position)

  • Provide setup, ongoing support and maintenance services for all product lines
  • Ensure projects are completed on time for client engagements
  • Provide 1st and 2nd tier product and service support
  • Work closely with other Operations Team members to prioritize projects and tasks
  • Create clear status reporting metrics to be sent to customers and management as needed
  • Work closely with the development and program management departments to define and support new products
  • Perform customer training as needed
  • Flexibility for rare but occasional travel and ability to work necessary hours to meet customer demands

Technical

  • Knowledge of entry-level concepts of business continuity, vendor management, and enterprise risk management
  • A core understanding of the internet and standard software applications including databases, spreadsheets, and word processing required. Programming and/or SQL Reporting experience a plus
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and be proficient in new software applications with minimal training or guidance

Education

College degree preferred, but any combination of education and training which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described are required. Coursework in computer science, information systems, finance, business administration or other related fields is preferred.
