About the Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in Worksop, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across a variety of primary school settings.

This Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role in Worksop may involve delivering pre-planned lessons during PPA cover, leading small group interventions, and supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis.

Working across Worksop primary schools, you will gain valuable experience in different classroom environments while maintaining flexibility in your working week.

• Deliver pre-planned lessons during PPA cover or staff absence
• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in Worksop schools
• Lead small group and 1:1 interventions
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning
• Support assessment, planning and classroom organisation
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and leadership teams
• Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

• Level 4 HLTA qualification with relevant experience
• Strong HLTA experience and Degree educated (essential)
• Confidence delivering lessons to whole classes
• Good understanding of the primary curriculum
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
