Quality Assurance Technician Job Summary
You will be tasked with improving and maintaining test data, completing measurements, and communicating results and status during and after product suite release. You will be responsible for ensuring product specifications are met and enforcing company SOPs and policies on the production floor. As a key member of the Quality Assurance team, you report directly to the QA Manager.
Quality Assurance Technician Job Responsibilities and Duties:
1) Receiving Inspection - Purchased Parts and Outside Services
Dimensional Inspection, Verify Certifications
Communicate with Suppliers missing/unacceptable data with shipments
2)FinalInspection

3) Dock Audits (Random Monthly)
4) Job Packages/Shop Order Release
Prints, Layout, Work Instructions, SPC Charts
5) Job Package Filing
6) Completed Quality Record - Filing
7) Certification Filing (Electronic and Paper)
8) Ability to work on the production floor to follow up on issues
9) Internal Rejections for Nonconforming Product - Reporting
10) Issue Sort/Rework Orders in MRP
11) Issue Gages for Production (Cross trained)
12) Be able to use and read all common inspection gauging ,mic,    Vernier, shadowgraph, RC, Surface tester, Thread gauge, ETC

• Manage point step process review, label and materials review, and QA approval of documentation control, line clearing, and process deviations
• Ensure all staff within the facility follow requirements
• Perform manual and automated testing, analyzing, and recording related results
• Review end-user notes for accuracy of implemented operations descriptions
• Document defects with conciseness, accuracy, and details to ensure defects are not reproduced
• Provide requested status and results throughout the facility
Position Requirements
High School,   3 to 4 Years work experience
Quality Assurance Technician Skills and Qualifications
• 3+ years of industry experience
• Must be able to read and understand machining part prints
• 3+ year of auditing experience and or shop floor inspection experience
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong mathematics skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Superior communication skills
Required Language Skills:
  • English - Very good
