Job Description Administration Assistant
Reports to:
Head of Landscaping Sales. Responsible for:
No direct reports.
To provide efficient and proactive administrative support to the Sales Team, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and excellent customer service within a busy sales environment.
Key Responsibilities General Administration- Process sales orders, estimates, and related documentation accurately and promptly.
- Maintain and organise electronic and paper filing systems.
- Answer incoming calls to the department, directing them to the appropriate person.
- Provide general administrative support to the sales team, and assisting other teams as needed.
- Support the management and development of customer and supplier relationships.
- Handle queries professionally and assist in resolving issues quickly to maintain strong working relationships.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of company systems and processes.
- Undertake additional duties as required to support operational needs.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Work in line with the company's Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Policy.
- Collaborate effectively with all employees to support company goals.
- IT literate - confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other business systems.
- Excellent communication skills - clear and confident telephone manner.
- Strong organisational skills - able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
- Proactive and willing to learn - demonstrates initiative and a positive attitude to developing new skills.
- Attention to detail - maintains accuracy and consistency in administrative work.
