A well:established geotechnical and environmental consultancy based in Leeds is looking to appoint a Geotechnical Engineer to support the continued growth of the business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist consultancy with a strong technical reputation and a healthy pipeline of residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects across the UK.

• Managing and supervising ground investigations
• Producing factual and interpretative geotechnical reports
• Undertaking geotechnical analysis and design
• Foundation design recommendations
• Slope stability assessments
• Earthworks and retaining wall assessments
• Reviewing laboratory testing data and preparing technical interpretations
• Coordinating subcontractors and site activities
• Assisting with project management and client liaison
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers where appropriate

• Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
• Previous consultancy experience within geotechnical engineering
• Strong understanding of ground investigation techniques and soil mechanics
• Experience producing interpretative reports
• Familiarity with geotechnical design software is advantageous
• Strong communication and report:writing skills
• Full UK driving licence
