In thisrole you will organise & plan routine tasks in accordance with the direction provided by the Cleaning Supervisor, ensuring that the locations allocated are cleaned to the standard required.
Key Responsibilities- To clean in any specified area as instructed by the Area Cleaning Supervisor in accordance with the specification for the Building Cleaning Services and in line with all safety and security measures in operation.
- Cleaning will include but not be limited to dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping, as well as carrying out deep cleaning and detailed cleaning tasks in accordance with a schedule of work or an ad-hoc basis as required.
- High levels of attention to detail are required.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness is essential.
- Must understand how to handle cleaning products safely, including harsh chemicals.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills to measure cleaning fluids.
- Ability to operate cleaning tools, such as steam cleaner and floor buffers amongst others as required.
- Ensure that the security requirement of each location is adhered to at all times.
- Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes.
- Any other duties and responsibilities, which do not change the character and purpose
- Industrial/Commercial Cleaning work history or equivalent.
- Experience of working to specifications.
- BIC’s trained or willing to work towards a qualification.
- Trained in Chemical identification (COSHH) or willing to work towards a qualification.
- Willing to work unsociable hours as required.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
