Assembley Operative

Based:
Morley, Leeds. LS27

Rate: £13.50p/h + holidays (33 days - 25+8BH)

Term: 6-12 months - Monday-Friday 37.5hrs (early finish on Friday)

• Correct use of machinery and equipment on the shop floor required.
• The Assembler will be able to read and interpret working instructions for assembly of products.
• Conducts all types of assembly work to produce a semi-finished or final products, including the packing where integrated with production lines.
• Some requirements to use light hand tools.
• Regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Conducts shop floor operation in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance.
• Operates within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Emergency lighting unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes.

• Experience in assembly within manufacturing environments.
• Strong attention to detailand ability to follow precise instructions.
• Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Experience with PCBs and wiring would be desirable but not essential
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
