The primary objective of this position is to act as a first-level supervisor, providing planning, organization, direction, and oversight to non-supervisory staff within the School Age Care program. This includes managing a comprehensive childcare program that offers before and after school care, full-day care/camp, and care/camp during school holidays for children aged 5 to 12.
Key Responsibilities- Design, coordinate, and implement engaging activities, programs, and special events that align with program goals while adhering to health, safety, and security standards.
- Plan, organize, and oversee all operations of the School Age Care program, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards while effectively meeting the needs of participants.
- Perform supervisory personnel management tasks to support and guide staff and volunteers.
- Monitor the training and development of staff and volunteers in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Act as a representative of the School Age Care program, building and maintaining positive relationships with various organizations both on and off the installation.
