As a Travel LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse), you will provide direct care to residents, partnering with the Nursing Supervisor and Executive Director to create a therapeutic environment that promotes long‑term recovery.

Schedule

Monday–Friday 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with possible rotating Saturdays. Regional travel up to 75 % of the time may be required to support facilities.

Requirements
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Compliance with Medication‑Assisted Treatment (MAT) program protocols (training is provided)
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • High school or GED (required)
  • Licenses & certifications:
    Driver’s License, LPN (required)
  • Travel ability:
    Regional travel up to 75 % may be required
Responsibilities
  • Administer and dispense medication under physician direction.
  • Ensure the treatment plan of the physician or Medical Director is followed.
  • Perform Mantoux testing and interpret results.
  • Schedule appointments for clients to see physicians and coordinate lab work and referrals for follow‑up care.
  • Assist in training staff on medical and health‑safety matters, and maintain medical equipment.
  • Provide training for staff on health‑care needs such as CPR, First Aid, blood pressure monitoring, etc.
  • Purchase and order medical supplies.
  • Educate clients on methadone maintenance, detoxification, side effects, laboratory results, and general medical matters.
  • Educate pregnant patients on prenatal care and collaborate with primary counselors to coordinate outside services as needed.
