* Apply new technologies to develop products that solve customer needs.
* Broad understanding of engineering principles
* Take a concept from idea phase through to production launch.
* Develop and execute testing plans for novel concepts.
* Apply tools like DFMEA, DVP&R, Cost Estimates, and work within a stage-gate process.
* Collaborate within cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables.
* Embrace the iterative nature of R&D, knowing when to pause or persevere.
Candidate Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
* 0-3+ years experience with new product development.
* Familiarity with CAD software (Solid Works preferred) and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
* Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity.
* Effective communication and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks independently.
* Familiarity with injection molding and extrusions; experience with glass or building materials a plus.
* Oracle or ERP system experience a plus.
