The Croatian cuisine, as well as the culture, differs in the coastal part of the country (Dalmatian and Istrian) and in the interior part of the country (Zagreb and all of the northwestern Croatia).

Drink: The Croatian tap water is of a good quality. A typical Croatian will mix his wine with soft drinks, such as mineral water or even coke, so don't be surprised. Bevanda, for example, is a red or white wine mixed with ordinary water. Bambus, another mix of wine and soft drink, is one of the most popular summer drinks in Croatia.
