Hungarian citizens wishing to travel to Cyprus may do so with a valid ID card or passport. Cypriots can travel to Hungary with a valid ID card or passport.

Hungarian nationals wishing to travel to Cyprus in search of employment must register with the relevant authorities on Cyprus, namely the Immigration Office, before the first 3 months of their residence in Cyprus is over. 

The public holidays of the Republic of Cyprus and Hungary are observed.
