Whether you would like to learn Russian as a complete beginner or would like to brush up on your current Russian language skills, ABC Languages in Manhattan provides group Russian classes in the evening at a variety of levels - from basic beginner to advanced. Taught by native Russian speakers, our evening classes focus on conversation and aim to teach you authentic Russian language skills that you can use in real life. Our experienced and professional Russian tutors also offer private lessons for adults and children at our school or at your home or office. Flexible scheduling options means you can book private lessons in the evening, at weekend or during the day.

Our established language school is located at 146 West 29th Street in Chelsea, Manhattan West Side (between 6th and 7th Avenues, near Penn Station, NoMad, Flatiron, Koreatown and Midtown Manhattan).

Evening Russian Classes:

•  Total Beginner Russian Group Classes:
Enroll for 6, 8, or 12 weeks. Classes meet once a week for 1.5 hours.

You will learn to read and write the Cyrillic alphabet, and acquire basic vocabulary and sentence structure in the present tense to develop your conversational Russian and practical skills. You will also get an introduction to Russian cases.

If you sign up for an 8-week or 12-week course, you will also cover some irregular verbs in the present tense, and gain a deeper understanding and application of cases.

•  Above-Beginner Russian Classes:
If you are not a total beginner, you are welcome to join one of our ongoing Russian classes at any time. After evaluating your current level of Russian, we will do our best to place you in the class that best meets your needs.
