IALF (Indonesia Australia Language Foundation), Bali:
IALF Education for Development is Indonesia’s leading institution for English and Indonesian language training, IELTS testing and preparation, and teacher training for teachers of English and other subjects. IALF employs over 200 staff and offers language training and testing services to over 15,000 students each year in its three training centres in Surabaya, Jakarta, and Bali.

IALF is a not-for-profit and fee-for-service Indonesian education foundation, established in 1989 and led by a Board of Governors based in Jakarta. It is committed to providing high quality language training services throughout Indonesia and the Asia Pacific region.

IALF Bali is situated on a spacious 5,000 square metre campus in Jalan Raya Sesetan 190 in south Denpasar. As well as the main building with the Resource Centre and classrooms, there is also the Garden Wing with a large auditorium and additional classroom space; a Garden Café offering lunches and snacks; and the newly built Young Learners Centre designed to cater to the needs of children and young adults.

IALF Bali has a wide range of Indonesian language training programs, including the 2-week intensive language and culture program, ‘Study Bahasa Indonesia in Bali’, as well as the regular part-time General Indonesian courses for local residents. An increasing number of Australian school groups are joining customized Group Study Tours. Private and online courses are also offered.

- Qualified and Experienced Teachers
All of our instructors are experienced native speaker teachers of Indonesian as a foreign language. All hold a university degree and teaching qualification, and understand the types of difficulties experienced by adult second language learners. Although they will teach primarily through the medium of Indonesian, all are fluent speakers of English.

- Homestay and Culture Studies Options available
If you are especially interested in Indonesian culture, engaging yourself in the everyday social life of the Indonesians within the heart of a host family is a memorable experience.  The family provide accommodation, breakfast and evening meal, and transportation to and from IALF for the duration of your stay. 

The cultural studies program comprises a series of lectures and workshops led by experts in the respective fields.  Topics include: Dance and Music, Cooking, Batik Making, etc.  There is also a full day trip at the weekend.
