Located in the heart of the beautiful and historic city of Florence, Accademia Riaci provides a wide range of summer art and design programs suitable for beginners and experienced professionals from all around the world. Taught in English, Italian or Spanish by expert instructors, our summer courses include shoe design, shoe making, bag design, bag making, fashion, graphic design, painting & drawing, and jewelry making. If you wish, you can combine different courses. Private lessons are also available during the summer months. University students or pre-university students may be able to earn credit.

In these courses, you will learn every aspect of designing shoes and bags from highly-skilled Florentine craftsmen, whose families have been making leather goods for generations.

Students with no previous experience can start with the creation of an easy pocketbook. If you already have experience, you will design and make your own original work.
