Focus Education Centre of Canada prepares students to achieve high scores in internationally-recognized English language examinations. Located in the heart of Mississauga ON, just 20 minutes west of Toronto, we are committed to helping you achieve your language learning goals. We provide dedicated test preparation for the IELTS and CELPIP exams, as well as a general English course (Focus English) for students from around the world at beginner to advanced levels.

English Language Exam Preparation Courses:

IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
Study options: Intensive (30 hours per week), Full-time (20 hours), Part time (10 hours)

The IELTS Exam is an international standardized test of English Proficiency, and is accepted for college and university entrance.

Each day in the IELTS program, you focus on one specific area. During the class, you learn the skills and strategies needed to succeed on the day of the exam.

Our flexible schedule allows you to spend more time on the skills that you need to improve the most, it also makes it possible for you to fit studying into your weekly schedule.


CELPIP (Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program)
The CELPIP exam is accepted by Citizenship and Immigration Canada for Permanent Resident status in Canada. There are two exams:

• CELPIP General 2 skills test (CELPIP Listening and Speaking)
• CELPIP General 4 Skills test (CELPIP Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing)

Choose from: Intensive (30 hours per week), Full-time (20 hours), Part time (10 hours)

General English Lessons:

Focus English:
Beginner to advanced level students

Focus English is a general English program that increases your proficiency through classes on speaking, listening, reading, writing, pronunciation, and grammar.

Each level takes approximately 8 weeks to complete when you are studying full time. Levels offered include:

• Level 1 – Introduction to English
• Level 2 – Beginner
• Level 3 – Intermediate
• Level 4 – Upper Intermediate
• Level 5 – Advanced

The tutorials we provide in a classroom setting for the Medical Examinations are not offered by any other organization in Canada.
