Online / Distance Learning Doctor of Oriental Medicine (O.M.D.) Degree:
Course Duration: 18 Months (2 Semesters of 9 months each). However, it may be completed in a shorter duration based on the student's ability and performance.

Learning oriental medicine means learning to consider the mind and spirit of the patient as well as the physical body. 

This comprehensive doctorate program prepares the students for an exhaustive knowledge and practice in all aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine such as Chinese Herbal Medicine, Acupuncture, Qi Gong, Shiastu, Oriental Philosophy, Oriental Diagnosis, etc. in addition to Human Health Sciences in respect to its application in Oriental Medicine. 

Doctor of Oriental Medicine Course Content:

- First Semester:
History, Philosophy and Principles of Oriental / Traditional / Natural Medicine; Natural Dietetics and Nutrition; Natural Health and Hygiene; Anatomy and Physiology (Human Body Structure and Functions); Methods of Nature Cure (Hydrotherapy, Choromotherapy, Heliotherapy, Fasting, etc.); First Aid (Emergencies); Pathology and Laboratory Diagnosis; Acupressure, Reflexology and Acupuncture; Oriental Diagnosis

- Second Semester:
Psychotherapy; Botanical / Herbal Medicine; Yoga, Meditation, Massage and Physiotherapy; Comparitive Studies of Modern Medicine, Homeopathy, Ayurveda and Naturopathy; Gynaecology, Embryology and Maternity; Medical Jurisprudence and Ethics; Oriental Medicine; Clinical Diagnosis; Management of Health Problems (Health Solutions).

Who is eligible for this course?
- Those persons who have passed any degree course from an authentic institution.
- Those persons who have completed the M.B.B.S., D.M.S., D.H.M.S., B.H.M.S., B.A.M.S., B.A.S.M., B.E.M.S., B.I.A.M.S., B.N.Y.T., B.A.T.S., B.U.M.S., B.Sc., N.O., M.D(A.M) etc.
- Practitioners/Research Workers who are practicing for the last 10 years. Minimum basic qualification is exempted.
