This graduate course provides you with extensive knowledge and practice in all aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine such as Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Shiatsu, Qi Gong, Oriental Diagnosis, Oriental Philosophy, etc. in addition to Human Health Sciences in respect to its application in Oriental Medicine.
Who is eligible for this course?
- Those persons who have passed any degree course from an authentic institution.
- Those persons who have completed the M.B.B.S., D.M.S., D.H.M.S., B.H.M.S., B.A.M.S., B.A.S.M., B.E.M.S., B.I.A.M.S., B.N.Y.T., B.A.T.S., B.U.M.S., B.Sc., N.O., M.D(A.M) etc.
- Practitioners/Research Workers who are practicing for the last 10 years. Minimum basic qualification is exempted.
Doctor of Oriental Medicine Course Content:
- First Semester: History, Philosophy and Principles of Oriental / Traditional / Natural Medicine, Acupressure, Reflexology and Acupuncture, Natural Health and Hygiene, Natural Dietetics and Nutrition, Methods of Nature Cure (Hydrotherapy, Heliotherapy, Choromotherapy, Fasting, etc.), Anatomy and Physiology (Human Body Structure and Functions), Pathology and Laboratory Diagnosis, First Aid (Emergencies), Oriental Diagnosis.
- Second Semester: Oriental Medicine, Comparitive Studies of Modern Medicine, Homeopathy, Ayurveda and Naturopathy, Botanical / Herbal Medicine, Psychotherapy, Yoga, Meditation, Massage and Physiotherapy, Medical Jurisprudence and Ethics, Gynaecology, Embryology and Maternity, Management of Health Problems (Health Solutions), Clinical Diagnosis.
