Project Buyer

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will oversee the entire order process. You will review proposals, negotiate prices, select the best suppliers, analyze trends, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.
Responsibilities

Responsible for issuing, summarizing and presenting RFQ’s and results related to the sourcing or benchmarking of Production Parts and Services. Compliance with corporate Supply Chain Strategies in Mandatory.
Responsible for the collection, maintenance and accuracy of purchasing records, files and documents within Plex. Duration of this task is from plant program assignment to end of customer demand. This includes however is not limited to the following items:
Supplier Master Files, Part Master Files, Minth Purchase Orders and Contracts, Supplier Contact Information (Supplier Add and Assessment Form)
Responsible to assure that all Contracts and Purchase Orders comply with current Minth Corporate Policies, Procedure and ISO/TS Standards.
Responsible for the development and maintenance of a timeline related ECN driven sourcing of Purchase Components, Raw Material, and Outsourced Activities.
Responsible for the Negotiation, recommendation and contract maintenance of all parts that fit with in the assigned commodities.
Responsible to attend Program and Plant Production meetings.
Champion all regional supplier commercial issues and assist the SQE and Accounting Departments with Supply Chain Problem resolution in the areas of Quality and AP.
Takes an active role in TS16949 by maintaining supplier records including IQ meeting, actions, trip reports, corrective actions, supplier assessments, supplier score card data, as required by the standard and MINTH AMERICAS goals and objectives.
Travels as required, domestic and International.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree
+3 years of experiences
Conversational English
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
