As a Senior Back-End Engineer
, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure server-side applications. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, Dev Ops engineers, and product stakeholders to implement efficient APIs and business logic. Your responsibilities will include writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, optimizing application performance, and staying current with best practices and emerging back-end technologies.

- Manage the full lifecycle of new epics, from technical design to customer delivery
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend features
- Write and maintain clear technical documentation and architecture decisions
- Analyze and troubleshoot system performance issues
- Ship production updates daily with minimal risk
- Provide technical leadership and support across engineering teams
- Conduct code reviews to uphold engineering standards and code quality
- Delivers consistent, high-quality results in modern software engineering
- Brings a user-centered mindset and works comfortably in Agile teams
- Uses
AI-powered coding tools
as part of my daily workflow - Keeps up with emerging technologies, patterns, and best practices
- Communicates effectively with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders
- At least 4 years of experience in cloud-native backend development
- Strong expertise in
Golang
and
Node.js - Bonus points for
Rust
experience - Hands-on experience deploying services to
Kubernetes
, with full
CI/CD ownership using Git Hub. - Proven skills with
Postgres
and
MongoDB - Familiarity with
Kafka
and distributed messaging architectures - Bonus experience with
Click House
and
Iceberg-based data lakes - Good knowledge of observability, monitoring, and system health metrics
- Complete professional fluency in English
This role may include participation in our on-call duty system, which means being available outside regular hours to respond to urgent technical incidents. On-call weeks are planned in advance, and we offer a base allowance plus potential overtime compensation. You would need to respond within 30 minutes and be reachable by laptop, phone, or email when on call.
