King's College School Alicante seeks an inspiring and creative Art & Design Teacher to join our outstanding secondary team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching across KS3–A Level, nurturing artistic skill, creativity and confidence in our students. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant, high-achieving British international school recognised for excellence across all areas.

• Deliver engaging, high-quality Art & Design lessons from KS3 to A Level.
• Track, assess and support student progress, ensuring strong academic outcomes.
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of students for whom English may be an additional language.
• Contribute to the wider visual arts culture of the school, including exhibitions, projects and enrichment activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and pastoral leaders to support each student’s holistic development.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of continual learning.

• Successful experience teaching Art & Design up to A Level, with evidence of strong value-added outcomes.
• A creative, student-centred approach to teaching, rooted in Quality First Teaching.
• Fluency in English with excellent communication and technical language skills.
• A commitment to pastoral care and to developing the whole child.
• A collaborative, positive and proactive attitude, contributing to the wider life of the school.
• Openness to integrating technology—including VR, AI and digital tools—to enhance learning experiences.
