Editorial Project Assistant – Reptiles
We are launching an exciting new editorial project focused on reptiles and are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Effectively manage and organize data, with attention to detail and strong Excel and database skills.
Search for and source information from external references to support editorial tasks.
Draft and edit texts and emails in English with a high level of accuracy, including book-related content and professional communication.
Coordinate with international collaborators and maintain smooth, timely communication.
Send follow-up emails and track pending tasks to keep the project on schedule.
Assist in planning, structuring, and monitoring the project workflow.
Requirements:
Excellent written English and comfortable spoken English (minimum Advanced level; native-level proficiency preferred).
Demonstrated knowledge of reptiles is mandatory.
Strong proficiency in Excel, databases, and general Office tools.
Solid skills in Adobe Acrobat (knowledge of InDesign is a plus).
Interest in editorial work and strong attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively.
Capacity to work independently, staying self-directed to manage workload and maintain steady progress on long-term tasks.
