Venga is on a mission to take blockchain innovations from the world of Web3 and DeFi and make them understandable and accessible in everyday life. That’s why we’re building a platform where people in Catalonia, Spain and beyond can easily discover, invest, and navigate the world of crypto — with a design, tone, and product that feel local and trustworthy.

We’re looking for a  crypto geek who can translate the world of blockchain for real people.
Not someone who writes only for “crypto bros” — but someone who gets excited about Ethereum upgrades or a new Layer 2, and then explains it to their mom, their neighbor, or their childhood friend in a way that makes sense.
Your superpower? Taking the complexity of crypto and turning it into  clear, engaging stories in Catalan and Spanish  — stories that inform, inspire, and build trust with crypto-curious audiences.
You’ll own Venga’s editorial voice in  Catalan and Spanish , producing web copy and newsletters directly, curating blog posts with freelance copywriters, and collaborating with our PR agency on press content.
This role is about being  the bridge between crypto culture and everyday life.

Messaging & Copywriting
Develop and maintain a clear, confident, and human voice for Venga across all channels
Write original copy for our web pages, including product explanations, landing pages, and feature pages (with input from the SEO team)
Collaborate with the product team on UX copy where needed
PR & Thought Leadership
Write and edit press releases, company announcements, and partnership comms
Ghostwrite op-eds, and media commentary for executives and the leadership team
Support PR efforts with strong, story-driven content that’s timely, credible, and compelling
Blog & Newsletter Ownership
Set the editorial direction for the blog: define themes, formats, and tone that align with both brand and SEO goals
Coordinate with our SEO to align on topics and keyword strategy
Plan and edit content yourself — and manage a small team of freelance writers and agency contributors
Own the Venga newsletter from concept to execution (content, tone, cadence)
Team & Project Management
Manage editorial production timelines and workflows with freelancers and internal teams
Review and edit contributions to ensure voice consistency and quality
Collaborate with marketing, design, product, and compliance teams on larger campaigns

You write  beautifully in Catalan, Castellano,  and you’re confident reviewing content in English
You’re a  crypto enthusiast  — you follow the space closely and get excited to turn complex updates into stories people actually want to read.
You can translate  technical, legal or financial concepts into plain, human language
You understand how to  educate, inspire, and entertain  — all in one paragraph
You can switch between tones: serious when needed, lighthearted where possible
You’re experienced in writing for  non-expert, digital-native audiences  (bonus if you’ve worked in fintech, Web3, or crypto)
You’ve written or edited web copy, newsletters, blog posts (with contributors), press releases, or thought leadership
You’ve worked with SEO teams or tools and understand xiphteb how to  balance keywords with writing style
You enjoy  collaborating cross-functionally , receiving feedback, and improving over time
You have  experience managing freelancers or agency contributors
You’re proactive, curious, and like a fast-moving, startup-style environment

Background in journalism, editorial, or tech/startup storytelling
Ghostwriting experience for executives or founders
Light design or visual editing skills
Strong presence in crypto communities (Twitter, Discord, etc.).
Previous experience working in Catalan-speaking markets
