As a Development and Technical Manager (temporal) you will have the opportunity:

  • To Manage Technically the operations of the Zurich Iberia Portfolio (Office Command buildings and Residential Buildings) in Madrid and Barcelona;
  • To Manage Technically New Developments of the Zurich Iberia Portfolio (Office buildings and Residential Buildings) in Madrid and Barcelona;
  • To administrate and control external suppliers as technical providers, property managers, engineers, architects, Technical Managers to guarantee the best execution of the technical plan startups Assets.
  • To plan and follow the OPEX and CAPEX plan of Real Estate assets, supported by the property manager and the Zurich Technical Team.
  • To maximize the results of a sustainable performance ESG of the Real Estate Assets.
  • To give technical support in the operations, leases and the formulation and execution of the commercial plan for the Real Estate Portfolios.
  • To give technical support in the Assets Transactions
  • To assist in the supervision, management and elaboration of reports about the performance, risks, budget, expenses, in conformity with the Investment directives of Zurich.
  • To collaborate in the analysis and development of Real Estate strategies
  • To harmonize the local strategy with Group Real Estate’s objectives.
  • To support the implementation of investment decisions, in accordance with Zurich’s risk policy.
  • To guarantee the proper governance and adequate controls for Real Estate investments, and its conformity with the law and internal checks.
  • To respect the best practices, standards and ethics of Zurich Group
Additional Job Functions
  • To assist in the negotiation and closing of deals and RFP´s with external suppliers
  • To endeavour to continuously improve the profitability Ting operates with suppliers
  • To contribute to control the financial objectives related to the Assets.
  • To actively back the management of income and expenses, which includes management the profitability of the Portfolio, transactions and the success in the development process
Business Accountabilities
  • To develop a deep knowledge of the assets and processes related to IM to identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • To review and interpret information and to assess internal clients about the adequate actions to fulfil the internal norms and procedures
  • To support local Real Estate management from an economic and technical perspective to optimize the value of the assets.
  • To coordinate the daily interactions with suppliers to guarantee the fulfilment of the service agreements.
  • To assist in the management of database related to Real Estate assets to make an analysis of the assets and portfolio.
  • To manage the renovation and construction plans as the main representative from an economic, legal and technical perspective with the support of an external team (project managers, architects, engineers)…
