Intern Material Planning

What you´ll do

• Supports the preparation of mid- and long-term Material Requirements Plans based on production needs and forecasts.
• Works closely with the Operational Planning team to help ensure materials are available at the right time and in the right quantity.
• Supports the maintenance of MRP parameters and follows up on material planning exceptions.
• Assists with inventory analysis, including monitoring stock levels, slow-moving materials and obsolete inventory.
• Supports the maintenance of relevant material and manufacturing planning data.
• Collaborates with Purchasing and suppliers to identify potential supply risks and support material availability.
• Helps monitor supplier capacity and future material requirements to support production plans.
• Identifies and communicates potential material supply risks or opportunities to the relevant teams.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives to make material planning processes more efficient.
• Helps optimize material orders while balancing availability, inventory levels and potential obsolescence

• Ability to do a 12 month internship (6-8h/day) via internship agreement (Convenio de prácticas)
• Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain student or related
• Fluent level of English
• Analytical mindset
• Proactive,Well organized
• Excel (pivot tables)/Power Bi knowledge - valuable
• Team Player and good collaboration skills
