We are partnering with an international logistics and supply chain services organization to appoint a Head of Logistics & Business Development.

This leadership position will play a key role in driving operational excellence, developing strategic customer relationships, and supporting the company's growth objectives. The successful candidate will combine strong logistics expertise with commercial acumen, ensuring efficient service delivery while identifying and developing new business opportunities.

Job Description

• Lead and oversee national and international logistics and transport operations, ensuring service quality, efficiency, and operational reliability.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, customer service, and overall performance.
• Manage and develop relationships with logistics providers, suppliers, and key operational partners.
• Lead, coach, and develop operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor operational KPIs and drive initiatives focused on cost optimization, process improvement, and service excellence.
• Identify and develop business opportunities within existing and prospective customer accounts.
• Build strong customer relationships and support commercial initiatives through solution-oriented logistics expertise.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to support business growth and long-term strategic objectives.

The Successful Applicant

• Proven experience in senior logistics, transportation, or supply chain leadership roles.
• Strong background managing complex logistics operations, transport activities, and operational teams.
• Demonstrated success in driving operational improvements, efficiency initiatives, and service performance.
• Experience managing external providers, suppliers, and strategic business partners.
• Commercial awareness with exposure to business development, customer management, or commercial activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Fluent Spanish and English.
