We are looking for a
** Senior Frontend Engineer
** to join our Life Sciences team in Barcelona. You’ll play a key role, as part of a cross-functional team, developing and delivering
** Cortellis Drug Discovery Intelligence**. This is a great opportunity to work in an agile environment, driving the front-end development of a product that truly makes an impact on the life sciences world.
** About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
*** 2+ years’ industry experience in front-end software development.
* 2+ years of experience with Angular framework for frontend applications.
* Experience with Angular Material
* 2+ Years of experience of Version Control tools (preferably Git)
** It would be great if you also had . . .
*** Experience of working within an Agile delivery environment.
* Experience running services in docker
* Experience using Jenkins
* Knowledge about AWS cloud infrastructure
* Develop and maintain the Angular frontend of our applications, fully integrated with a microservices architecture built by the same team.
* Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code.
* Follow and help define best practices and coding standards in your area of expertise.
* Support and improve existing systems by diagnosing issues and fixing bugs.
* Collaborate closely with QA, UX, Dev Ops, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Project Management.

** You will be part of a team of 6 Talented Software and QA engineers, working in close collaboration with a Solution Analyst, UX Designer, and Product Owner. As part of our Agile processes, you’ll play an active role in developing and delivering
** Cortellis Drug Discovery.
** Cortellis is a leading intelligence platform that provides high-quality, curated insights on drugs, targets, and bioactivity data — helping R&D teams accelerate early-stage research, identify new opportunities, and reduce risk in decision-making.
** Hours of Work
** This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Barcelona office (just a short walk from the Sagrada Familia), with a hybrid working model.
