At Wallapop, we’re looking for an experienced Front-end Engineer with strong expertise in
React to join our team and contribute to the evolution of our web applications. This role is critical in shaping how we deliver valuable content to millions of users. You will be involved in building both customer-facing web apps and internal tools, primarily utilizing
React (Next.js). While proficiency in React is essential, we also value knowledge of Angular. As part of this role, you’ll have ownership of the development lifecycle — from design to deployment — while collaborating closely with design, product, and back-end teams to implement solutions that elevate the user experience.

• Demonstrated understanding of UI/UX best practices and how to build user-friendly, intuitive applications.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in an agile environment, working closely with cross-functional partners.
• Strong communication skills and a growth mindset, with an openness to learning and knowledge sharing.

• Experience with
  Angular or migrating legacy applications from Angular to React.
• Active contributions to open-source projects or developer communities.
• A specific passion for web accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design.
• Ability to contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Do note that all our jobs are 📍 Barcelona based. We follow a hybrid model where flexibility rules. We commit to a minimum of 6 days per month in the office. Each team self-organizes to decide on cadence and in-person/remote rituals.
