** About the role
**** This is an onsite based role in Barcelona, Spain.
**** Your Tasks
*** Define and maintain embedded firmware architecture across microcontroller platforms.
* Lead design decisions on OS, drivers, interfaces, and hardware abstraction layers.
* Ensure scalability, modularity, and performance of embedded platforms.
* Guide implementation of AI/ML-ready data processing pipelines.
* Drive best practices in coding standards and design reviews.
* Mentor developers and contribute to team skill development.
* Ensure compliance with IEC 62304 lifecycle and regulatory standards.
** Your Profile
*** Master’s degree in Engineering or Physics.
* 3+ years of experience in firmware development within regulated environments.
* Multidisciplinary technical knowledge (Python, C, C++, HMI, image processing).
* Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and practical application.
* Advance level of English, both written and spoken (required).
