You’ll be part of the User Experience Foundations team, which enables product teams to deliver high-quality, consistent cross-platform experiences. This group manages internal frameworks, design systems, and the core infrastructure that powers both the company’s website and mobile applications. In this role, you’ll collaborate with engineers across Europe and North America, focusing on the adoption of modern technologies and the definition of technical standards.

The position is based in Barcelona and works closely with international colleagues in a remote-first environment.

The core stack includes React and React Native for client-side development, supported by Django and Node for backend services. The apps are a hybrid of web and mobile, with infrastructure managed through Code spaces, Webpack, and SSR technologies like Next.js. The company deploys several times per day and encourages a fast, iterative development approach.

• Contribute to architectural decisions across web and mobile platforms

• Develop reusable components and libraries that scale across products

• Lead migration efforts toward Next.js and React Native-first development

• Define and evangelize frontend standards and best practices

• Collaborate on roadmap planning and drive technical initiatives

• Provide mentorship and technical support to other engineers on the team

• Work closely with UX and design teams to optimize development efficiency

• 7+ years of experience in frontend or fullstack software engineering

• Strong command of JavaScript and React; experience with React Native

• Proven ability to build and maintain scalable design systems

• Background in leading large-scale upgrades and cross-team initiatives

• Passion for code quality, test coverage, observability, and performance

• Prior experience mentoring junior or mid-level developers

• Solid communication skills and an eagerness to collaborate in a hybrid team

• Familiarity with tools such as Next.js, Django, Swift/Kotlin is a plus
