Job Overview

Founding Engineer – Join a brand‑new Factorial spinoff focused on transforming internal IT management for thousands of businesses worldwide. The role is centered on building a platform that manages onboarding, permissions, support, equipment, inventory, and related processes from day one.

• Design, develop, and ship core features of the IT Management domain, handling the entire feature lifecycle.
• Own high‑impact initiatives, collaborating closely with product, design, and operations teams.
• Write clean, well‑tested code in Ruby on Rails for the backend and React/JavaScript/Type Script for the frontend.
• Participate in daily code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and maintain a high standard of engineering quality.
• Engage with customers to understand pain points and validate solutions.
• Define and maintain technical roadmaps, set quarterly goals, and drive continuous improvement.
• Implement and evolve AI‑first development practices, including spec‑driven development, RAG systems, and robust evaluation frameworks.

• At least 2 years of professional experience as a software engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails for backend development.
• Solid experience with React, JavaScript, or Type Script for frontend work.
• Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, and multiple programming languages.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, mentor others, and work in high‑energy, fast‑paced environments.
• Team‑player mindset with a focus on user‑centric design and data‑driven decisions.
• Willingness to take ownership of critical initiatives and provide end‑to‑end delivery.

• Annual gross salary of €60,500 (base €55,000 + variable pay up to €5,500). Salary is fixed across all locations.
