Intermediate​/Senior FF&E designer

Lazaro Rosa Violan is seeking an intermediate or senior furniture and lighting designer to join its team in BARCELONA. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented designer who have a strong passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop curated furniture and lighting pieces.

• Tracking of the manufacturing process of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) pieces, including corrections to shop drawings and prototype adjustments.

• Collaborate with in-house team, clients, and project teams to create exceptional results.

• Willing to work in multiple projects, ensuring organization and attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).

• Highly organized with the ability to manage tight deadlines.

• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.

• Strong knowledge of ergonomic rules, current design trends and materials in the hospitality industry.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of industrial design degree.

• More than three years of proven experience in developing FF&E for hospitality projects.

• Familiarity with five-star luxury and premium hotel design processes is highly favorable.

• Portfolio or hospitality work samples must be included with your application.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficiency in Rhinoceros, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign is essential.

• Creative problem solver with a keen eye for design detail.

• Solid technical and construction knowledge, coupled with strong managerial skills.

• Ability to thrive under pressure, delivering exceptional results while supporting team cohesion.

• Collaborative team player.

• Strong spatial planning skills and experience in producing drawing packages.

• Passion for luxury and boutique design with a commitment to teamwork.

• Excellent presentation and graphic communication skills.
