Intermediate Hospitality Interior Designer

Lazaro Rosa Violan is seeking a Thechnical Intermediate Hospitality Interior Designer with proficiency in both English and Spanish to join its team in BARCELONA.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient professional whose primary focus will be drafting and developing comprehensive basic and executive documentation packages for high-end hospitality spaces. While this role heavily emphasizes technical precision, construction documentation, and spatial planning, the ideal candidate will also actively contribute to creative style proposals, collaborate on concept design, and maintain direct communication with clients.

• Draft and develop complete basic and executive project documentation, including detailed construction drawings, millwork details, and technical specifications.
• Lead the production of drawing packages ensuring full compliance with technical standards, construction feasibility, and design intent.
• Develop creative style proposals and unique hospitality concepts in alignment with the studio.
• Manage direct communication with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project progression.
• Collaborate closely with the in-house team across multiple projects, ensuring strict organization and rigorous attention to technical detail.

• Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written)
• Highly organized with the ability to manage tight deadlines and complex technical packages.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed
• Strong knowledge of current design trends, materials, and production techniques in the hospitality industry.

• Graduate of architecture, interior architecture, or design school (or equivalent proven experience).
• Four-plus years of experience in luxury hotel and F&B hospitality projects, with a strong portfolio focus on technical development.
• Familiarity with five-star luxury and premium hotel design, delivery processes, and construction phases.

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD is essential for producing high-quality execution drawings.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Office, and Sketch Up (or other 3D software).
• Knowledge of Midjourney and Nano Banana is a plus.
• Solid technical and construction knowledge, with a deep understanding of materials, fixtures, and millwork detailing.
• Strong spatial planning skills and a proven track record of delivering flawless execution packages.
• Creative problem solver with a keen eye for both design aesthetics and technical resolution.
• Ability to thrive under pressure, delivering exceptional results while supporting team cohesion.
• Excellent presentation, client-facing, and graphic communication skills.
