Intern, Investing Strategy

The Carlyle Group is looking for an Intern to join their Europe Partners team in Barcelona. This role will involve portfolio reporting, valuation support, and performance monitoring. You’ll work closely with investment and finance teams, gaining valuable experience in financial analysis and reporting.

• Review and analyze financial reports from portfolio companies.
• Support the quarterly valuation process by gathering financial data.
• Work with finance teams to validate reporting information.
• Help prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support portfolio management.

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master’s program or a recent graduate.
• Strong academic performance.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in Excel and financial modeling.
• Interest in financial reporting and business performance analysis.
• Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
• Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
