Global Category Senior Manager - Lagerhaltung & Distribution

Join our dynamic international environment as a Global Category Senior Manager with focus on Warehousing & Distribution, enhancing strategic and operational planning through market intelligence and optimizing procurement processes.

• Develop market intelligence and macroeconomic projections for strategic planning; execute sourcing plans in line with category strategies and identify cost effectiveness and other optimization opportunities.

• Lead procurement sourcing/optimization initiatives from a project management perspective; build strong collaboration with supply chain stakeholders and strong partnerships with third-party vendors.

• Drive source-to-contract procurement excellence by implementing best practices in vendor segmentation, vendor performance management, sourcing and contracting.

• Develop strong analytics internally to drive cost transparency and cost benchmarking.

• 5-7 years in procurement/category management in an international environment, with good understanding of freight and 3PL market and warehousing and distribution processes.

• Technical expertise on pharma logistics including freight, warehousing and final mile distribution, and basic regulatory knowledge for multiple countries.

• STEM/Economics graduate preferred.

• Teamwork, self‑responsibility, negotiation skills, and communication skills; proficient in data analysis, financial analysis, and office literacy.
