French Games Linguist

The French Game Linguist role is to translate from English into French in game content. This role requires excellent language skills, creativity, and a passion for Games.

This position is in‑house working on a client‑specific project expected to last 4 months (February‑June), with potential for longer commitment. The role requires working at our Keywords office for the full duration of the project. Our office is located at

C. de Julián Camarillo, 6A, 3ºB, San Blas‑Canillejas, 28037 Madrid, Spain.

• Translate in‑game content from English to French to a high‑quality standard.
• Be responsible for all linguistic aspects of the translations you are assigned to ensure the best possible quality is achieved.
• Collaborate with other linguists on the project to maintain consistency and quality across translations.

• Native level French speaker with excellent command of English.
• Passion for the games industry and gaming culture.
• Educational qualification in linguistics, translation, or equivalent field.
• Experience in translation, copywriting, or linguistics is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
• Self‑motivated and able to work effectively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with CAT tool software, e.g. Memsource/Phrase, MemoQ is an advantage.
