Job Overview

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. (MPS) is a leading developer of integrated power solutions. MPS is seeking a highly motivated hardware validation intern with a passion for hardware and power electronics.

• Design, simulate and validate power electronics circuits to meet the required specifications.
• Prepare hardware and software setups, together with the hardware & simulation team, to measure all required parameters of our ICs.
• Develop schematics and PCBs for new solutions.
• Develop device models (SPICE).
• Work with the IC design team to debug and troubleshoot the device under test.
• Generate documentation and reports detailing all performed tests.

• MS in Electrical or Electronic Engineering; subjects related to power electronics and control are desired.
• Hands‑on experience in verification and troubleshooting electronic circuits (firmware and hardware).
• Experience with electronic laboratory equipment including oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer.
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem‑solving environment.
• Good oral and written communication skills for documentation.
• Self‑motivated, strong team player.
